so this is another problem that seems pretty simple to fix i just havent got around to it. when i come to a stop light i put my car in nuetral so i dont have to hold the clutch, but whenever it turns green and i put it into first it takes some good energy to push the gas and i usually end up acidentaly reving it to maybe 4000rpms so the perosn beside me wants to race (not good if its a cop). and after that it is fine when i let go. it just has to be in neutral or the clutch down for about 30 seconds and it becomes tough to push. any ideas on how to fix this??

Lubricate the throttle cable with a light synthetic oil (TriFlo available at Home Depot or local bicycle shop). Starting at the throttle body, disconnect the cable & drip the oil down the cable. It will take about a half hour for it to reach the pedal inside, keep dripping & place a rag under the pedal to catch any drips once it reaches inside the cabin.
My '96 328is was hanging up, lubed it once & it's been fine for 5 years.

happened to me also... lube up the throttle cable like Choffa said. Mine's been perfect ever since.
