As the title says, I feel a small vibration coming from what I would think would be the engine bay, when accelerating/pushn the engine really hard up a hill. When im accelerating from 120 kph and upwards going up a hill, and under heavy load around 4.5k-6.5k rpm, I feel as what would be the engine vibrating??

As soon as i've let go of the gas, or ease off the rpm's/gas, the vibration goes away while stilll coasting at whatever speed, making me believe its not suspension related because the noise goes away as soon as I let off the gas. This noise can be reproduced on a straight road, but its easier and more noticeable when flooring it up a hill.

So what do you guys think?? I've got a 92' 325i automatic.

Ditto ... that is, as long as you have absolutely no other issues with the car as far as vibration, hesitation, acceleration, etc.

SOmethin in the driveline somewhere, when under load its got some play causing the vibration. Id start checking all the mounts and the GUIBO.

flex disc? or motor or tranny mounts

Ouch, Paradox, you have an AT ... sorry, I missed that earlier. Is this noise, perhaps, coming from the rear center of the car, rather than the engine bay? Check to see if the U-joints are loose, because the problem you're describing sounds like they just might be.

AT? dont have any clue what that is, and as far as Guibbo, Flex Disc is, sounds more like part of a Manual transmission which I dont have. I have an automatic. As for motor mounts, how exactly do I check them out? what should I look for and how do I test?

AT = Automatic Transmission
MT = Manual Transmission

As to the motor mounts, you can usually see where the rubber has worn down, cracked or otherwise deteriorated. A clear sign would be your engine shaking like crazy, whether at idle or under slight load.

To check the transmission mounts and U-joints, you'll need to get under the car at the rear-end. You want to make sure there's no play in the U-joints on either side.

Im leaning towards the flex disk (guibo bearing) or maybe a motor mount.
