I just recently got a 1995 M3 and I am purchasing an eisenmann exhaust for it (with connecting pipes). A friend and I are going to install it once it arrives. I have little experience with cars, I do small things like change oil, brake fluid etc. I just have jack stands and a ramp, and on an exhaust install should I have any problems getting the stock system system down and the new one on (enough room)? Have any of yall run into any major problems install and aftermarket system? I know it should be a fairly easy install I am just worried about room under the car when its on jackstands/ramps, my car is lowered 1.5 inches and it seems like it might be a tight fit under the car, just wondering yalls input.
Thanks

i've installed my exhaust with a set of ramps and a friends help took like 30 mins. make sure all your exhaust hangers are in good shape. if not now will be the time to replace them. also head to the stealer and get a new gasket from the cat to the cat back section. there are two and their shaped like O's

For the connecting pipes on the exhaust are they supposed to be welded to the muffler? It looks like it on the eisenmann website, but I have herd it is no nessecary.

I think the connecting pipe bolts on, no welding necessary. You only need to weld if you get just the muffler I think.

I didnt weld mine, but they also dont include any clamps with them. And the clamps they sell at like autozone and napa are to big and will not fit around the exhaust pipes. On my car you can actually feel a little bit of muffler gas coming out from the connecting pipes but not enough to cause a major problem. Tho they should included some damn clamps for the price these things cost!

yeah, i ended up getting my whole thing brand new (eisenmann race 2x76mm DTM tips) for like $705 shipped. I think I will just bolt it on and hope there isnt a big exhaust leak. If there is would the best thing to do is take it to a muffler shop and get them to weld it together?

I got the exhaust from bekkers they were running a deal it was $600 shipped to NC, and then went and bought the connecting pipes from eurosport designs for about $105 shipped.
