I have a bulging hose that I just noticed. I am going to attempt to tell you where it is... nevermind. I need all new hoses. Anything that has to do with the radiator and is hose-like in nature needs replacing. :( I will also need a new windshield, as mine looks at though it has been through many sandstorms and looks like sh!t. How much time would it take to replace all cooling hoses? I have a Chilton manual, so I could do it. I just need ballparks and resources. Thanks for any info.

whoa, www.bavauto.com sells all 8 hoses w/ clamps for..........$$$180.

call up your insurance and see if you get glass coverage. if not you'd be better off going to a local auto glass place.

I don't think the insurance will cover the glass, because it was the previous owner's fault.

I'm a huge fan of bimmerparts.com

As far as the glass...My deduct was too high, so I just paid cash...$200 for an E36.

From what the glass guy was telling me the E30 is one of the easiest cars on the planet to swap windshields on. I guess the factory didn't even glue the windshield in...:dunno:

Said it was held in by a gasket and since the body was so tight there was no need for glue.

Go figure...Should make it a fairly cheap job.

Also.....IMO..Ditch the Chiltons and get a Bently...:)

Unfortunately the M3's aren't that easy :bawl

The windshield is a structural component, and it is glued in, so it is hard to replace, and takes quite a bit more money...
