Here is a picture of the rims I just got. 3 of the 4 rims, have curb rashes.. and I'd like to fix them up. I know how to do the repairs, ie, sand paper, bondo, primer, paint, clear... but I dont know what paint I need to match the color of these rims. so anybody wanna shoot out some ideas of what to do, or know what paint this is?

I've tried matching silver paints. Never any success. I acutally got a company that mixes paints and puts them in an aerosol spray can. I've helped a friend fix his wheels and paint them similar to the SL65 AMG wheels...
Didn't come out exactly like them, but close.
Just repaint all 4. My friend took his wheels and had all 4 sand blasted for $10/wheel and took about 45 minutes. Good Luck.

Regarding that paint, i've heard something similer that a single paint bottle will match these rims perfectly.. although Personally I find that hard to believe? I mean how can a Single paint color, match so many different Rims soo perfectly? Can anybody explain how this is so??

Supposidly there is a aerosal paint called Wurth wheel Silver which matches all rims made out of germany perfectly (and Wurth clear coat is a perfect match up)? I am curious if mine would be the same or not, as my rim is a Replica of a German manufactured rim? What do you guys think?
BTW where can I order Wurth? Can I get it anywhere here in BC/Canada? IE. walmart, canadian tire, lordco, rona, home depot, ?? Or is this a strictly a deal you have to order over online?

Hey I was just reading up on Einzett and supposidly they took over and bought the company Wurth, and use Wurths Wheel Silver formula under their own name called Einzett Silver Paint, is this right?

I used Griot's Garage Silver Wheel Paint which is most likely Wurth Silver Wheel Paint. It's made in Germany, and their ad copy says it's supposed to match exactly. It is very, very close to the stock finish, but the metallic flakes I've found are slightly larger in the paint than in the stock finish. I might just have to finish the other two wheels.

FredK: Thanks, i'll look those up as well.

sorry, I wouldnt make my rims black. I think black rims hide all the features of a rim, whether it be good or bad features. Only rims i'd spray paint black are rims that are ugly to begin with.
