Flys and wax

Anyone notice that flys seem to attracted to the wax.

I'm using Griot's products. Always seems like there are flys on the car. They also seem to be eating the wax.

Anyone else notice this?

Carnuba in its natural state is harder than concrete....

Perhaps the oils in it, or the scent or another chemical is attracting them.

I would not worry about them eating it, they are far too small, and if they did eat the wax they would have serious digestive problems, wax has a great affinity for water and I would like to see a fly digest something like that...:lol:
