they should fit, but be a little streched, by my numbers at least, its a 5 inch wide tire.

All depends on the tire... Some 185's are only spec'd to 6" rim, and some others are okay with 6.5". You're stretching it no matter what.
Suggest going to TireRack's site, find your tires, and look at the specs. They'll list what rim widths are acceptable for a particular tire.

I'm putting 185/70/14 Blizzak's on my 14x6.5 basketweaves. I was told they'd be fine.
