True but guibo isn't rpm dependant rather speed (mph) dependant.

Never really thought about that but I guess it would be since it is after the tranny.

But vibration from rear end is a definate symptom.

Very true. Mine was totally shot and I only felt MAJOR and I MEAN MAJOR vibrations in 2nd and 3rd gear. The vibration sounded like it came from right under the shift knob. My whole center console was shaking like my car about to explod. I have a picture that I'll post up later of my messed up guibo.

If it vibrates/shakes enough yes ;) I already know mine is going out, last time I was under the car I saw spider cracks on it which means it's going soon... And with the way I drive that's very soon :evil2

no i mean at idle, and a groaning sound upon 1st gear engagement (only) ,up to 2mph :D

Hit the gas pedal hard in 1st or 2nd gear and if it vibrates under your arm rest, then it's bad.
