View Full Version : Airbag light on, but its dim!

Ok, this is a wierd one. my airbag light came on about a month ago, fault coded to the passenger pre-tensioner. havent fixed it yet.
Yesterday i start up the car, the light is on as usual, but its now dimmer than before. dimmer than any of the other lights in the cluster. any explanation?

there are actually two bulbs for that lamp. a standard cluster bulb and another more permanent (led?) bulb. the idea is that if the regular bulb is out, they still want you to know the srs has a fault.

so one of your bulbs is out.
