Squeak/rattle in rear suspension

Hi,

I have a 1998 M3 Coupe. There is a squeek/rattle in the rear end, maybe on the right side. It is more of a sqeeky rattle when I go over rough roads. Is that in the shock mount? I hoped it might be just the jack sqeeking, but I put foam around it and it didn't help.

Any suggestions?

If the suspension hunt doesn't work out, check the exhaust.. my car does the same thing, sounds like it's from the rear right and a high-pitched squeek over the bumps.. turns out it's one of the mounting bolts on my exhaust that needs periodic lube..
