To stud or not to stud?

I am getting some Haka 2's for my E36, just wondering if its best to get them studded or not. I live in central NY so we could get dumped on or have a fairly mild winter it is all by chance.

Looking at if from an autocrossing point of view, I say yes. If you swap tires like I do at the track, it's great to have studs to be able to throw the tires onto the car and not have to line the holes up and then install the bolt. If you are not going to swap, then I say the choice is up to you.

go for it if you get ice. but i like studless snow tires
