purchasing from vendors

How would the mods and admins like for us to inform the vendors that we chose to purchase because of their advertising?
A simple "i'm from bf.c"?
If we click on the vendor's link and purchase on-line, can they tell this is how we arrived at their website?

Vendors can tell that you arrived at their site by clicking on the advertisement on another site. I think it would help the forum if everyone told their vendor that they were from bf.c, that way the vendor knew that the advertising was effective. I give discounts to all bf.c members if at all possible, but they have to let me know, of course, that they are a bf.c member. ;)

I just placed an order with Bimmerzone for all the components to overhaul the cooling system on my M3 (radiator, water pump, thermostat, ect.).

This thread gave me the idea to e mail them to see if as a BF.c memeber, they would extend a discount to me.

I'll let you know what happens.

jetmech, i didn't ask for a discount, i just wanted to let them know that their advertising on the forum is worth their investment/expense.
