New water restrictions imposed. No car washing AT ALL unless you take it to a commercial place. Fines and/or jail time for offenders! There's no way I'm bringing my car to some car wash...

Can't you put your car in the garage, close the door, and start washing? None will be wiser, and as long as you don't use too much water, it'll be impossible to know that you're washing your car!!

Take it to a detailer, and then just use those wipes from Griots! :D (I'm half-teasing, Eric....) ;)

bah humbug - I'll wash no matter what, drought my ass...it's political BS if you ask me. A Car Wash uses more water than a single individual would anyhow....

Hey, well water does not draw from the city, so really they cannot do anything to those with their own wells... :) And besides, my car is dirty and needs to be washed, it's an extension of my body... :)

Phil, with your own well, you may be exempt from the restrictions, I'm not sure about that, though... :dunno
