how to paint that ugly black stripe on the car

well my bimmer is white and i do not like that black stripe on the side of the car that goes around it. how much does it cost to make it white like the rest of my car? Can I remove it? Can I paint i myself w/ spray paint or sumthing?

Yeah, its called moulding.

Get some M3 side mouldings and paint it up if you like, but i think that it looks better black on most cars.

take the bumper ones off using a flat head screwdriver (be careful of the bumper paint obviously). The side mouldings should slide off. Break off the clips. Use White electrical tape to cover the clip holes and voila! You have a shaved look to your car. Or use a different color and make it look like a racing stripe. :dunno Be creative.
