Sure why not? As long as there isn't snow or a ton of salt & sand on the ground there's not reason not to drive a car during the winter.

i always drive in the winter (snow). my e34 525i, my e36 m3 and now my e30 325. with proper snow tires, you don't have much to worry about.
my old m3 went through 6" with bridgestone blizzacks last season.

I will be driving my car through winter this year, but if it snows or a chance of it i'll be taking my brother's e36 325i instead. :D

debating this right now myself, since we got our first shock of winter weather yesterday and today here in madison.
pros of storing car
-no damage from road salt, snow and ice, and other drivers
-ample time to work on projects
-save some wear and tear on the engine from cold starts.
cons of storing car
-going back to driving the beater
-going back to driving the beater
-did i mention, going back to driving the beater?

Sorry dude, the 7 is all i have and the winter rubber is already on. I want to think that there should be no problem with driving such a superbly engineered machine through the cruel canadian winter. The 7 will prove itself .... again.

Yeah, I drive my car every winter. It's real harsh here in Southern California.
I heard it might actually rain.

jUST THROW some SNOWS ON or like I did, Conti Sport Extreme Contacts (@ $108/tire from tire rack), and dtive it. Last 2 winters have been fine, just didn't go out when we had the 13" snow storm last year. Car handles fine and the traction control is a godsend.

I always drive my car all year around.
I actually hate to drive it more in the summer than in the winter because I have to turn the AC on and it gets soooo underpowered :(

Driving the truck during the real crap months. (Jan-mar) I like to throw a few hundred pounds of sand in the back when once in a blue moon it does snow in Nashville.

My car's interior makes a lot of creaking noises when the weather gets cold. It's not very enjoyable to drive in the winter even if there's no snow.

I will be. East coast corridor, Baltimore, Wilmington, Philly. OK up to 4 inches. No snow tires, Yoko's AVS 430s. DSC all the way. Not pleasant, but I get there. :redspot

Michelin Arctic Alpins are on the winter rims, with four layers of Klasse and about 1/2 inch of P21S slathered everywhere else. I'm good to go. Hate to drive it in the salt and snow, but it sure beats the skateboard.
I..ownd..winter. I got a starter, blizakks, traction control, heated mirrors, heated seats, and..an ice scraper.:D

In fact they have a saying that's appropriate:
