I'm not talking about how long it took you to install it. Just curious how long you guys had your car before you actually modded it. Removing stock parts doesn't count.

Tint was on in two weeks. Stereo was in in about eight months. Was a full year before I did any performance upgrades (AA intake).

on my previous evo 1...the car arrived at the docks, I went forward...popped the hood....exchanged the stock dump, stock filter, and even changed tires and rims at the same moment. In my M3, 35 minutes after I bought it I put on the filter, exhaust system the day after, chipped it the same day...1 week and a full alpine stereo system installed, eibach springs and bilsteins 1 week after that.

Hardwire radar dector the after I got it, then clears 2 months later, slowly aquiring mods, then went crazy over summer
Waited a few months for clears.. then a year into it was suspension then it all sped up with tyres, then tints, then wheels and tyres, then alarm, then mirrors, then grills, now dde's and tails...
Help me.

bought an intake within the first week of owning the car. I didn't install it until I got it chipped a couple months after that, but it was purchased and sitting on my floor that whole time.

Lets put it this way, I had all the parts I needed before I got the car. The rest is just time and fine tuning to put them on. Took me a day before I put my cosmos intake on since I came back home at night and was too tired to do anything.

Stereo: Head unit, the day after I bought it. Subs and other speakers, three days after. I'm still working on getting some 'go fast' mods. Other things come first. Like rent and bills and car insurance and food and dammit, I'm broke...looks like that CAI will have to wait.:(
