That's a sweet ass color on the car. I never seen that before. The color matched rims just doesn't look right. If the car was black with black centers, that would of been differnt. It would of looked better in gunmetal instead. Overall the car looks nice.

Guys, it's more than just fender grilles. That car has a complete E46 M3 front end conversion (minus engine). That includes M3 Hood, bumper, fenders, AND even mirrors!

I know that you purchased the car with the m3 front end covnersion, but I must say that I find it pretty dumb when people do ///m body conversions. Just my .02 though. I like the rims a lot though. Love how the lip goes with the window trim.

Toolbag, I don't think she's trying to pretend to have an M3....don't flame someone. Those are OEM M3 fenders....not pretending to be an M3. So all the people that put M mouldings on ther 325/328's are pretneding to be an M3? No.

I love it, I just think you need to find some wide rear fenders cause it looks kinda weird with your front fenders sticking out so much. And get some spacers for the front.

Oh, and having a wider front track than rear helps handling. The colormatched wheels look kickass, don't listen to the E36 guys, as a rule, they don't have a personal sense of style, they just tend to follow trends set by other E36 guys.

As far as the OP, yes it looks better, but let's consider a nice set of regular colored wheels to complete the makeover. :) The brows went with the wheels, but now the brows are gone and the wheels are out of place. IMO. :)

As for people flaming for it having an M front end... Maybe its the fact that americans pay peanuts for not only they're cars but there insurance. But in the UK and most likely europe, It could cost you upwards of 5 grand to insure an M car So if you like the look it doesnt hurt to just mimic the style on an insurable car :lol

I.e my friend told his insurance company he had put 19" wheels onto his Audi TT they Quoted him an extra 6 grand ($12,000) the cheapest quote he got was £3grand ($6000) eventually he just got the salesman to say they came with the car.

not a fan of the wheels either, and I dunno, I'm of the mindest that a full body conversion to an M without the balls to back it up isn't right! flared front fenders and lil rear ones? hmmm. . . go back to oem, and ditch those clear rear reflectors.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of $$ to spend on mods - the 951 is my money pit. The only thing I've done to the car is delete the brows and buy a new key.:D I'd love to supercharge this thing, but I just dumped about $8K into "Anita," my Porsche. Can you say "broke?":rofl Once I get her done, I'll move on to "Emmy," the Bimmer.
The clears are actually a BMW option that is original to the car. I'd never heard of it, but BMWUSA quoted that when I called them to research the car. Wierd I know, but if it's stock I'll probably leave it. Just another thing to make this car unique.

And as far as being a "chick" goes, I'm probably more a mother hen!:rofl

I like it without the eyebrows. I think there is more contrast on the front end. I like monochromatic looks but I think you have to have some contrast. That is just my opinion.

I also like the wheels but I think I would get tired of it on my car. I like seeing it on other cars because I do not have to see it everyday.

I look at it this way, if every car looked the same it would be boring.
