OBC display dead... Radio Shack P/N?

My OBC display went dead so I replaced the bulbs using some bulbs from Radio Shack. The dealer wanted ~$20 for the whole bulb display.

The problem is the display appears dimmer than normal. The part number from Radio Shack is #272-1154 (Bi-Pin Lamp, 12v, 50mA).

Question:

Are these the right parts for the job? Which bulbs would I use to make it brighter? The bulbs are wired in series.

Nope, you need the 6V lamps 272-1140. They work a treat!
