just need proof please help!

so im trying to show my friend how we can identify bmw engines.

325 = 2.5l
328 = 2.8l
330 = 3.0l
m3 = 3.2

as same goes with the 5 and 7 series right? some please chime in if im wrong thx!

M3's had 4cyl (e30) as well as 3.0 and 3.2L engines
The 323 and Z3 2.3 had 2.5L engines. They did not want to confuse them with the 2.5 diesels.
