I have a 94 530 with 98k on it. I recieved word that I will need an entire new front suspension. Something to do with the bearings and front shocks. I got a quote of about $800 to $1000 to fix, and I think I will need a new AC clutch in the future as well.
Well the whole point of this thread is that I found a 2003 325XiT for sale locally. Its grey with black leather, and its stick! It has 44,000 miles and they are asking $22,000 for it.
Just geting some opinions here, should I just give in and sell the car and snatch this newer one up, or is their asking price too high, or should I just keep my car and fix it. I love my car, just want to get some opinions on what others would do!

I say keep it, and maybe look for another good 3 series(not awd) early next year or for the summer. Just my opinion, becuase u wont relaly lose much money by fixing it, because you will get it back when oyu sell it...

Well, as a transplanted Floridian that has to drive in IL snow, I'd vote for the AWD. I'm sure it would come in quite handy in CT.:D

I think your right, and I just needed somebody else to say it. I have put a lot of money into the car.. Rotors and pads, clutch and now this..... It has been reliable though, and it guess its just that its in that "period" when things will go on it. I was thinking of buying a wagon because I am going off to college next year and really I need more room, or in the case of the the 3 series, just a hatch. I think I will just go ahead and fix it and see if I find somehting in the future. And if I fix it, I will at least get top dollor when I sell it privately, Thanks again!
