Here's a link to what goes into a clear bra install. The car is a Lambo Gallardo. Ck out the rest of the site for modded bimmers.

wow thats crazy. Very good looking, but it must cost a lot of $$$
1. Would be very expensive
2. Wont be waxable, so not as shiny as no sealant etc.
3. Would age in the sun?
4. Respraying bits is always possible for the front
Definately interesting to see tho!

WOW, I'm impressed. Thats so nasty how they got that one, does that film bend alot. and wouldnt that make it thinner around curves and edges?? Anyway, I would love to slap a clear bra on my bumper if when I get a new one. Nice thread

Damn, must be expensive, but I am sure it also must be worth the money for the right people.

My friend has a clear bra on his gallardo. Cost a fortune but again if you can afford the car what's the difference. The bra is basically invisible, and the paint looks great from beneath. The bra is also waxable and very easy to clean it's really a great product.
I have one on my m3 and again I really like it.

Am I the only one that thinks the clear bra isn't worth it?

The problem with the Clear Bra is that you CAN still see it, with a noticeable line at where it ends (at least my anal eyes can see it).

old pics, but you can still check out the clear-bra. it's quite hidden as long as you keep the car clean. . . and that's even on a black car, which is one of the hardest.

My wife tried a clear bra once, but she said it made her boobs sweaty.

That doesn't mean anything, most stuff isn't noticeable in pics. I remember I had a big crack in my bumper when I took some pics and the crack was completelly hidden in the pics.

that's a close-up, and that's as visible as it is when you keep the car clean. If you get lazy, it gets apparent.

the clear bra is visible in person you can't really trust pics. that being said it's still is pretty invisible and for the protection it provides I can't stress enough how great it is. The front end of my car was basically white from rock chips. I had it re-sprayed, and then had a clear bra applied. Over a year later and the front end still looks brand spanking new.

my friend got this done on his elise. He got the front bumper and fenders for $700. it is easily visible that there is clear plastic along these panel, but who says it looks bad, wouldn't make a difference in appearance if it didn't have it on. waxes it every weekend and looks brand new.

I also had my car parked on the street, and someone bumped into it and didn't leave a note. I came out to see white paint scrapes on my front bumper. I brought it to my clear-bra guy, he ripped off the old bumper piece and slapped on a new one. good as new. didn't damage the paint at all. was worth it right there.

There is no bloody line if you do the entire bloody panel.
