i was wondering if anyone knows for sure if the bavarian autos hi-po ignition coils are just as good as ignition solutions plasma coils?

they are a hell of a lot cheaper i know that! bav auto says that the "core windings have been improved for more firepower." is that along the same lines as what ignition solutions does?

also does anyone have the bav auto ones? if so can you tell any difference?

if you read madhatter loves them the only draw back he encountered is when he gets a code reader and reads his codes it says all 6 coil packs are bad....which they arn't. he said he can deal with it b/c it doesn't throw his check engine light.

also if you do your research you will see that they make as much hp/tq as an exhaust without sacrificing tq down low in rpms. and they cost as much as a really good cat back exhaust! so then you have to ask yourself which is a bigger waste of money the exhaust or hi-po coils?

most would say coils b/c they love the sound of new exhaust. but if you already pretty much have every bolt on mod there is you need to start looking elsewhere. and also if you plan on using nitrous oxide this would be a must to produce the most hp/tq and also to protect your engine!

i think i would do these if i had NOTHING left to do...
there are charts that show they produce a significantly better spark, but not necessary for most appliciations.
