View Full Version : '95 M3 Hesitation

I have been noticing that my car hesitates a little during semi-aggressive acceleration, especially in second gear.

It's not like the car is dying or anything like that, but sort of a light bucking feeling like the timing is being pulled back or something.

Any ideas what it might be? My thoughts are maybe injectors, or fuel filter but I'm not sure.

The car has 82k miles and it has been well serviced. The plugs were changed about 7k miles ago, as well.

Sorry to be a moocher, but I'm still new and have been benefiting more than I have been contributing, so please excuse me. Thanks.

did the car throw a CEL when it hesitates? it can be one of your ignition coils, or your ICV (idle control valve).

No, it did not and that's why I don't think it's something that is software related. But then I could be wrong.
