Have 95,XXX mile on stock clutch. Not slipping, but when it gets hot it won't chirp second gear any more. So I figure in not too long it will go out. So with that said what is the best clutch to get if I plan to turbo it with in 10-15K miles. Cost is an issue, but if it takes $$$ to do the job right I am about it.

While you are at it, consider upgrading your flywheel, and replacing your starter if you have over 100K miles. There was someone on here who was selling an aftermarket clutch.

Change the guibo out while you are at it.

Check out UUC motorworks...they have various clutch packages you can choose from. I personally have the SACHS power clutch with their stage 2 ltw flywheel and love it. Since you are planning on going turbo you might want to get a little stronger clutch than what I have.

Add a clutch stopper while you are at it off eBay.

Unless you're into chatter, I wouldn't recommend this setup. That's what I have. :(

But I guess you're sorta stuck since you'll need a performance clutch since you're going turbo. :dunno

I think he means "clutch stop". Do a search. ;)

3nd the guibo idea. 2002 M3 version is recommended.
