View Full Version : Mom getting new Mini this week...gift ideas?

Hello all! I spend WAY too much time on this forum, but I've never stopped by the Mini section! My mom is getting her Mini this week so I thought I'd stop and see if you guys have any suggestions for a cool gift for the car. Not like CAI or something, but more like an accessory? What's the best web sites to get Mini stuff? Thanks all!
BTW, here's the color and model she got....it's an "S"!! Yeay!!

MINIUSA.com has several neat things (you can get most of that stuff at the dealer too) Otherwise, if you go to northamericanmotoring.com and look through their vendor section, you'll find several MINI sites. Depending on how much you want to spend, my personal favorite decorative, but functional accessory has been my Whalen shift knob :D

Although I dont own a Mini, Im a big fan of them. I recently bought a Mini Cuckoo Clock to put in my garage. They look really cool and sound just as cool. Maybe your mom would like one for her side of the garage? You can buy them via the Mini website OR check out this site to see a quicktime movie of the clock in action!

When my GF got her Mini, I bought her the euro parcel shelf (goes under the steering wheel in place of the driver's side knee bolster) and some stongard for the lights as a present. Check out http://www.outmotoring.com. Pretty fast shipping I thought.

The glove box organizre comes in handy. A License plate frame, key chain or tinted side markers. A lot to choose from.

I'm going with the checkerboard mirror covers on my wife's car, so I'll probably get the valve stem caps too
