A Mini SUV defeats the point of a Mini and will make their advertising campaign look like a hoax. Many of the ads when the Mini came out poked fun at SUVs. For them to introduce one would be hypocritical, though I would not doubt they'd do it. :rolleyes

I think that most of the MINI community feels that a Clubman or Traveller version may be a possibility for a future variant as these were variants of the original Mini. While I'm not a big fan of the concepts they've shown up to this point, I could see a very slightly larger MINI with the club style doors. But it's still pretty much the same size as a Cooper. If you've ever seen a Classic Mini Cooper next to a Classic Mini Traveller, you'd understand what I mean. If they do it right, it should still be a car that people look at and think is really small, but actually has a more roomy interior than many larger cars

I'm sure they can pull it off. If you look up "Marketing Genius" in the dictionary, it points you to MINI.

I think it's a good idea... they could call it the traveler or something, but I think it is a nice little suv and will sell.
