I had pictures from when Speedwerks and Kormans did it. It looks good and if you have a friend who can roll them for you Id do it. Id buy a extra fender set and do it on them first because you can ruin your fender by doing it.

If you just want a little more width, you could put on a set Aplina Wheel Arch Flares. See link: http://photobucket.com/albums/v102/dapbmw/alpina/
Dapbmw from the FAQ sells them. Beaner7102

rolled and pulled fenders to fit 215 tires. this was done with the fender rolling tool you can get from tire rack. the waiting list was about 6 month when i used it a couple years ago.

What size rims and tires do you run Steve? I think my tires are too tall. I use 205 55 15, and have quite abit of rubbing issues. I still have yet to get spacers and lower the car as well.

where are you rubbing? those are 13x6.5 with 215/50R13 tires as i recall. Don't ahev the tires any more. PIx are from a couple of years ago. Right now under the flares i can fit Hoosiers that are 225/50R13, but run Kumhos that are 215/50r13 (better tire for AutoX)

Witht he hoosiers there is only a few millimeters clearance from the strut and fender flare. Very close fit. But the hoosier is a cheater tire. they are close to 235mm in width.

Hey Steve- I have one of those tools. E-mail me if you need to use it again for another car. No wait and I'm just in Pleasanton. You going to '02 swap meet this weekend?

no need for the tool anymore. i have no fenders to roll. flares on the '02 fiberglas fenders on the e30. i will be at the swap meet for about an hour and a half starting at 9am. have to work after that. so i won;t even have the 2002 there :(

A 205/50 15 is pretty close to the height of a stock tire. They may work out a little better for you. But all tires are different too. You "may" need to roll the fenders w/ a 205...not too sure, im still running 195's......

I borrowed driftcrazy's borbet's.. I think they are 205/55/r15. Tomorrow im putting my 165's and steelies back on.. the wheels were rubbing on the top edge of the fender.
