I am just curious as to the manufacturer of the single stage paint on 2002's, particularly Sahara... :D I am getting tired of driving around with a ghetto unpainted fender and I need to paint it without painting the whole car.

Spies Hecker has a "new" single stage system. I saw a car my friend sprayed in black and it looked real wet after it was blocked and cut.

Alright, I will look into that, the only question is will the new paint match the old paint well?

Yeah will probably not match because the old paint is aged but give it try it won't hurt. At least it will come close to it. :D

Oxidized paint isnt hard to match to but the shine of the clear coat is what doesnt matches. If theres a possibly just to get the whole car cleared again it would look dead on. You can always you a spectrometer and then refer to paint chips as to what color and variation it is.

It doesn't have clear to begin with! Also, the paint that is there is in very good shape since I try to wax it as often as I can. I would simply like it to look pretty close since it is a fender and not a part that will be seen in the sun as much as say, a hood, trunk, or roof...
