get a big wrench at sears and a hammer. Damn i forgot the size.. but i do have my fan on the shelf.

i believe the wrench is 32mm. yeah i will just do it that way

dude, go to home depot or harbor freight (290 and jones). HD has the 32mm wrench for $25. Harbor has the 32mm wrench in one of their 16pc sets, all for $20.

I went to Sears and bought a big adjustable wrench. It works fine, and I can use it for other things too! $10

just be careful, some 32MM wrenches are too thick to get back there; i got a cheap ass adjustable one made by cresent from HD for 10 bucks, tap with a hammer so you dont turn the water pump at the same time. and remember, its reverse thread!
