This is a 1985 Euro M6 aka M635csi. The car has 52k orig miles. We do have documentation to prove this. The car has been legally brought over and was done so back when the car was brand new. We have known every owner of this car and it has always been owned my enthusiasts. The car runs fantastic, it easily runs with my M3. The car also has an extrememly rare full factory aero kit. The problems with the car are as follows, no third gear, 3 minor rust spots, all surface easily fixed, and the hood has a little bit of fading on it. Other then that this car is basically perfect. If there are any other questions please feel free to pm me or email me. Thanks - AW

I would raise the price...... its very hard to find a nice euro m6 here in the united states and they are not making any more of them... they are rare... I would personally ask for more... But good price.. and if your a m6 lover I would jump on this... A mint m6 is always worth a little extra cash...

Thanks for all the awesome words guys, I hate to see the car go, but to many in the garage and this one never gets driven. My dad brought the car home today and I ran out to take these pics but the car was so dirty from rain so bare with me and I'll have much better pics once the car is washed. Hope for tommorow.

I would honestly keep it dude.... hide it away..... somewhere fit it in storage... something.... my god the car will be worth even more in 10 years if it stays in its current condition.. I would be all over this but I just bought my mint 95 m3 with under 70 k miles...

Maybe the tranny issue is scaring people. Perhaps if you gave an estimate of the cost of a rebuild/replacement it would help. Also have you listed the car at bigcoupe.com? That is an E24 specific web site, and you may have some luck there. Beautiful car though. I think you will regret selling it, as the E24 has a presence and style that is lacking in the newer cars.

thanks for the tips. We have no idea what is wrong with the tranny. We did price out a new tranny from bmw, this was 4k. This is by far the most expensive route to take, but even if you took this way. You can have about 15 into the car, and have a Euro m6 with 52k for that.

Hi.... I know someone who is looking for an M6, we are in the Southeastern PA/ Delware region. As soon as I can reach him I will have him contact you. Do you have VIN, maintenance and ownership history handy? If so, please email to me at bonnie0525@comcast.net. Thanks very much.

what are the engine specs on the M6 euro model?

Hey guys, thanks for the comments and interest.
well for third gear.... it just disapeared one day haha. Not quite that fast but over about a week period it just went away. At first you would put it in and sometimes it wouldnt stay and kick out. By the end of about a week or 2 third gear just didnt work at all. you would put it in the slot and nothing would happen. Immediatly we put the car on the rack and drained all the fluid. We filtered through the fluid to try to find any metal pieces but nothing. We then bought red line fluid to replace it. Still nothing, After that we tried a short shift kit and still nothing. The car is still very drivable. The car has to much torque and skipping from 2nd to 4th is no problem for everyday driving. For more spirited driving or racing is when it will become a problem.
As far as the euro engine specs I'm not 100% sure. I knew at one point and I'm ashamed to say that I've forotten. I know the car produces 276hp stock. The us cars had 256. My guess is this car is around 290 the way it is. very powerfull.
The vin is - WBAEE310201050090

That is an incredible car!! :buttrock You should keep it. The trans problem is probably tied into the detent springs or in that general area. If it were me, I'd sell something else. You will never find a Euro M635 like that again! And you will probably regret selling it after the fact. Anyway, good luck!
wow. I love it. When you say "it will easily run with your M3," could you be more specific? What are the engine specs on this car (286hp?)? Would you say it feels faster, or just as fast as the M3 and is that with or without the faulty trans? I ask partly out of curiosity, and partly out of interest. Lovely car.
