anyone using SuperSprint exhaust/mufflers?
what kind of sound does it have?
i am looking for a quiet-low sound muffler and SuperSprint was recommended by another forum member, i'm just looking for some more input. thanks

great sound, very mellow and a bit louder then stock.
I enjoyed it while I had it but sold it in exchange for something more aggressive.

Its actually really really quiet. Recently heard a friends, friend that had one on his E46. He cut the resonators, and it was still as silent as stock. Not until he got on it, did you hear a nice rumble, not to loud, but a real nice tone.

Great quality though, my former Fiat Turbo had a Supersprint exhaust, it's still in one piece after ten years :)

pshhhht dont listen to these people. the supersprint exhaust is slightly louder than stock FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. and believe me, it sounds wonderful, i have one on my 325is. however, to an innocent bystander your car is MOST DEFINATELY NOT "slightly" louder then stock. Everyone always knows when i pull up. Do you live in a rural or an urban or a suburban place? if your in wide open country its definately unobtrusive, but late at night in a quiet suburban setting you cant drive fast without the entire neighborhood knowing it.

they definitely make good exhausts. the only negative thing ive ever heard about them is that they are generally pretty heavy. other than that, go for it man.

i've had my SS exhaust for about 4 years (2nd mod right after an ECIS intake)... trust me you will not regret getting the SS
i love the sound - deep and not too loud - sounds "professional"
the only downfall is that i developed a small puncture after 3 years - normal wear and tear i think... i had it patched up and it sounds louder since but still nice
supersprint = :buttrock

imo... SS is the BEST in aftermarket quality exhaust. its built like OEM fitment so it sits PUUURFECT. at times i think it is a bit quiet for my tastes... even tho it does sound "professional" if u want louder... get the supersprint race exhaust systems

I don't know about you guys but that sounds A LOT louder/bassier than stock. How can you honestly call that "silent as stock?"
Anyone know if that's a catback or a full exhaust?

Just doing the catback? No.
The entire system including headers, midpipes, and muffler? Yes.

In my TI, there wasnt any droning, but in the 325, it was kind of annoying to me because he had the headback system and gutted cats.
