1999 BMW 540i 6spd. Sports Package. Black with Tan leather interior. 70k miles (I'll post actual milage tomorrow). OEM M5 wheels

Maintance Items I've done:
New radiator
New tires (kuhmo)
Replace tranny and rear end fluid with BMW OEM fluid
New front rotors (ATE)
New front pads (Mintex)
ATE Super Blue brake fluid

I also have a set of rear brake pads and brake sensor that I've been too busy to put on. Here are some pictures of the car when I got it. It's basically in the same condition but I did buy this car for my wife and kids. So, the car is in good shape but not mint (being honest here).

Wanting 5 million for the car.... Haha, jk! NEW LOW PRICE $17,000

Okay, this car must have gotten mad at me when I decided to sell it. The car now has a new upper radiator hose because of the "T" plastic fitting developed a crack in it. Also, it now has new Axxis rear brake pads and brake sensor. Oh, and the milage is 72k. Again, if you interested, please email me for quickest response. The price is negotiable so get yourself a early X-Mas present :crazynoel

Bump for clean E39. I would be happy to check out the car for anyone who was interested, as I am somewhat local to it. I used to own a 98 540/6 and can say that it was perhaps the best sport/family car compromise I ever owned.

best sport/family car compromise

...and that's the reason we bought one!

joey93turbo,
Ever considered shipping? I know of quite a few people who have done so.

I have thought about shipping, but I could never purchase a car without seeing it in person and driving it myself. The other problem is it's slightly out of my price range, even without shipping costs :(

narfit,
The listed price is "negotiable". So, what's a "little lower"? If you like, email me privately at richygonzalez@hotmail.com.

Okay, here's the latest. Our home remodeling looks like is going to happen/start here in the next week or so. So, one of your 3 cars has to go and the 540 is it. So, someone here from bimmerforums has a chance at this car before it gets posted on autotrader.

...and for all you "buying agents" that are wanting to send me a cashiers check for more than the asking price ... don't bother!
