and exactly what has been done to your supra to justify $30k plus my car?

If you are interested, I am willing to accept no less than $30k plus the car.

hahah...another Supra owner  ....
So what if u put $25k in your car. Your not suppose to get that back out when you sell it. And I don't think anyone loves a supra that much over an m3 to give you 30k and their car....I love supras but I would never do that

I purchased the car for $27k in November of 2004. So, as you can see, I'm not going to profit from selling this car, and I still owe $34k on it.

WCM3: I'm sorry you would never trade yours, but maybe someone else would like to jump on the opportunity. I don't appreciate the criticism

wow, you MIGHT be able to get 25k out of the supra alone...that is if you are lucky...

amazing how ignorant everyone is to how good supras are. In most normal cars you aren't supposed to get your money back for the mods and the car isn't supposed to be worth a lot of money when it gets old.

NONE of this applies to the supra. That car is worth every penny if not more. 2jzpowered sorry you haven't gotten a warmer response, but we're not all ignorant to other cars.

The car his stock turbos and no major mods, prolly running the most 15lbs of boost, they sell for around 25-30k in good condition. O'well G/L.

so you bought it for 27,000 and you now owe 34k on it?

Was this financed through a loan shark?

I owe 34k b/c of the mods, in addition to the car. I didnt have enough money to put 27k down. This car is far from stock... its set up to handle 1000hp. It is ready to go single, i just have no money. If you added a boost controller and upgraded the suspension this car would be perfect for the track.
furthermore, this car is one of 431 made in 94. The supras selling for 25-30k are high mileage, bpu level, being sold by the 4th, maybe 5th owner. I purchased this car from the original owner.

Mani: thanks man, at least someone here seems to appreciate the car. honestly, i thought i would get a little more positive feed back.

Sounds like a nice car...But if you're trying to get $30k plus an M3...good luck with that. No doubt your car is worth a good amount, but not $30k plus another ~$15k-25k an M3 is worth.

nice car, but why modding it to a point where you have no money to put in it further more? making yourself in a deep debt.

So you want a clean M3. Anywhere from $13-25k. We will take someone that wants to trade you a $15k dollar M3. So that means your justifying your car at $45k with just a built engine. On SupraForums which I am a regular, there are definantly very nice examples in the 25-30k dollar range. Hell, the most expensive car on there is $65k, with the second most expensive at $56k. Those ARE 1000hp cars, with a suspension, brakes, etc...Furthermore, there are several 2-3 owner(which you would be the second owner, so the next owner should care much, as he will be the third owner, and so on), sub 50k mile cars for under $35k. You can't come on here trying to pump the prices of Supras, when they are far different than what you say. Your best bet from a business and financial situation is to list it $34-36k, which I still think is a bit overvalued, and get out of debt. Then take the difference, and buy an E36, or get another loan...whatever. The WORST thing anyone can do is finance modifications, because you end up where you are right now. I hope you can sell it, but nothing bothers me more than Supra owners thinking they have the appreciative cars on earth. There are only some 8000 Supra's going around, and year has very little to do with it. The Fast and the Furious is the ONLY reason why prices have jumped up. I have seen some guys asking more than the car was new for their 30k mile examples...yikes!

i agree with rmani that these cars are insane and worth every penny, but the justification of spending $30k ("no less") AND an e36 m3 is just crazy. $45-50k for a 1994 supra... hmmmm.... like what turbo331is said, that damn movie ruinied it for everyone. hell i was looking at a '94 supra tt before i got my 525 ages ago. i should have gotten a supra but i wanted a bimmer. :confused long story short, back then it was going for $18k (before fast and the furious came out).

all i can say is good luck on the sale and i'm sure if you're willing to hold out because i'm sure there is a person out there stupid enough to give you what you want.

Wow. So basically you know you messed up and are trying to get out, respect for that but this is the WRONG forum to try and dump your mistake on.

GL. I'm sure it's a nice car but... I'll keep the comments to myself.

While I do agree that he could have gotten a warmer response and I do agree that Supras dont do well on this forum (they are however, one of my favorite cars of all time), I also feel that he wants a LOT of money for a built motor and stock turbo'd car. If he had swapped to a high end single turbo and maybe FULL susp and stoptechs or brembos all the way around I could almost agree with you, but a stock suspension, stock brake system 94 will not get that kind of money. Or it shouldnt at least. Heh. But I do wish the owner all the luck in the World to prove me wrong. ttt

Not a bad start but agree, low 30s will be a better bet.

My buddy with a 94 Black/Black TT Converted to single, built head, tons of other work under the engine still stock bottom end, custom stereo, interior, paint(all black just one hell of a black paint job 8grand worth) and mild body kit upgrades.

Well, if you post on a bimmer forum then you need to handle the criticism. I love Supras too, i'm not ignorant. It's just that owners want so damn much money...that it really makes me think their all crazy :eyecrazy . I was looking for supras before i bought my m3 and if your lucky to find one in your area they want $24k for a 94 with 90k and some decent mods. Or i could buy my 95 m3 with 27k on it and mods for $15k....so i did. Catch my drift...

I don't really care much for what a car is "steup" to handle. But A dyno chart does most of the talking for me. My 437rwhp is about 525+hp@ the flywheel. More then double the factory 240hp. So seeing a Supra wanting $30k plus my car, I would really want to make sure that supra is in the 1000hp club.

Just my $.02. and BTW, a stock E36 M3 +$30k at ICS will yield a 500rwhp OBDII car with a BBK and clutch/flywheel and everything else needed.

As much as I love supras...$30k + Car...a more reasonable offer would be $30k + my Hotwheels M3...You could probabaly get more money if you parted it out and sold the car stock. Not even kidding.

for $30k + a $15k M3...I could get a lot of other things...

Not everyone does things according to the dollar. Some people might just really want a supra, regardless of the fact that you can get an equally fast M3 for much less.

Being one of few who knows IS300 owners with the "supra swaps" in them, I more then respect them... but that doesn't mean I am blind. Market conditions baring, I can find you many 500rwhp supras that are willing to sell in the 30k-40k range. Selling a stock M3 at around $15k still puts you in the 15k-25k mark... Noticed haven't done any bashing yet. I had a 93 190E 2.6 "Setup" with the tranny to handle an AMG 3.6 with a blueprinted Twin Trubo... never did the swap. But it was "setup" for it...

HAHAHA!!! I'm sorry but supra's have got to be the most rediculous car on the plannet. There comes a point when you need to realize that your car is outdated now. Everytime I see these threads I laugh and yet am still amazed that people try to...and i suppose end up selling these cars for such rediculous prices.

Spending ALL your money on a car plus an insane ammount of money you dont have just to trade it is not to smart, how come you dont just keep the car and spend the rest of your life paying it off? you must have liked it to spend a whole shit load of money on it in the first place.

A car is worth only what people are willing to pay for it. I bet this guy might be able to fetch $35k for his car, if the right buyer came along. The 6-speed is pretty desirable I hear.
