Trying to get the fan clutch of my 528i.. No luck.. Need the tool that holds the pulley in place.. :help

you dont' need it, 32mm wrench, and give it a few shocking hits with a hammer. Remember it's reverse threaded, so hit to the right.

got a 32 mm wrench, and using a large screw driver but still can't get it to bust loose. I think i might need the tool also.

I wound up using one of those brackets that hold stereo head units from the back.. You know the ones with a bunch of hohes in them.. I attached one of the ends to a bolt on the pulley, stuck a screw driver through the other end and found a spot on the block that looks like an engine hoist ring.. I stuck the screw driver in the ring (through bracket also) and was able to get enough leverage to hold the pulley and bust the fan loose.. I just used a normal 12" adjustable wrench on the fan.. I should mention that I also sprayed a little lubricant on the fan nut and waited about 20 minutes..
