After a mild resto. which included new paint, motor, Ground Control suspension, Koni's and a full suspension rebuild, It's finally on the road. I'm still waiting for a couple of trim pieces from the powder coater but, the visual impact is awesome. The 18" staggered Alpina's look right at home and with the stance set right it looks awesome. It drives even better than it looks. Does anyone have lead for smoked side markers for the US bumpers. I bought the Turner M/S smoked fromt signal lenses and wanted the sides to match.
I'll have pics tomorrow.

Your gunna have to spray the sides. I bought the Turner Motorsports smoked signals for my E28 and was in the same situation. I wound up spraying them with the NiteShades stuff. It was about $20 for the can, and i also got a can of clear coat. Take the sides off, wash them real good with a sponge to get all the crap off, lay them on some newspaper and spray the first coat lightly, let it dry, after that spray them till you get them as dark as you want (letting it dry in between each coat of course). After there totally dry, hit them up with 2 coats of clear and you should be done.
