I'm selling my almost new Active Autowerke Stage 1, Generation 3 Turbo Kit. The kit was originally purchased from Keith (icemann633) back in April, but I have since ordered the Eurosport TS, and the AA kit has to go. I've never installed it.
Everything that is mentioned in the original FS thread is included.
Original FS Thread: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=349038
I will also include the electronics - Greddy Turbo Timer and Boost Controller. The kit is really mint as seen from the pictures.
Pics - http://www.pixagogo.com/4034055131
If you're OBDI, all you're going to need to complete the kit would be the the manifold, wastegate pipe, downpipe, and the oil lines for turbo...
Software is included.
If you're OBDII, you'll need the above, plus the software, and probably some additional piping.
I'm not an expert on FI, and everything I know about the kit is in this, and the original FS thread above.
I'm OBDII, and AA quoted me $2900 to complete the kit using their software, and all the missing parts. If you go aftermarket, you can cut this in half. If you're OBDI, you don't need any additional software, and can pretty much have it completed for 1K.
Additional info can be found on AA's website....http://www.activeautowerke.com/turbo/obd1s1/main.php
At 8psi, the kit will be making 330 rwp, depending on the engine. Easily upgraded to Stage 2.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I will get you an answer as soon as possible.
As for the price, I'm waiting to hear from a friend of mine who is helping me price it fairly. I'll post the price later tonight, but I think I'll be looking to get 4K plus shipping. I'm not trying to make any money at all, and selling for less than what I bought it for. And as mentioned above, you get the electronics which were not included when I purchased this kit.
New Price = 3500
I'd like to sell this as a kit. Not willing to part out.
Please email me with any questions. DO NOT use PM.

Thanks.

manifold-1250 from AA :( , 700 from Turbonetics :)
Oil lines from ATP turbo(IMO) 300-500
The downpipe and wastegate can be made by some performance/exhaust shops. Prices vary... I paid 400 for my custom downpipe/midpipe(3") and then another 400 for a nice muffler and the section from the midpipe to the muffler.
What about the oil fittings? If the lines aren't included, I bet the oil to turbo/oil from turbo fittings aren't either...
Good thing my machinist works for beer :buttrock

It is programmed for obd-1 which does now have EWS. I believe its a 314 DME but any obd-1 M3 should be fine.

I would use the SPA turbo cast manifold... about the same price, very high quality :buttrock

So you're saying audspeed is also high quality? because they're the same manifold.
And yes I will agree, audspeed is damn high quality, compare to the other cast manifolds that run at double the price. this one is actually somewhat tubular, main body get bigger as each runner gets added into the main body (not only wider, but also thicker from top to bottom), and runners actually run smoothly into the main body verus at a direct 90degrees angle.

No I am not saying that. They are two different manifolds.
SPA turbo(Brazil) = PPF(Sweden)
I have heard of people grinding away at their blocks to get turbos to fit with the audspeed...
All cast manifold will have similar flow characteristics. One thing you want to look for is the collector being far away from the head(cartech, AA). This helps the part of the manifold that touches the head have a straight line of expansion and thus no damage to it or the head over prolonged use.
My favorite cast manifold is the turbonetics, the collector goes down :buttrock
Want more hp :evil2 Get ahold of PPF and get their tubular t3 mani :buttrock

It's the same thing, look at the audspeed manifold, it has the word spa turbo on it but it's grinded down, audspeed gets there manifold and kits from SPA.
and I'm not even going to reply to the grinding motor block with the audspeed manifold, because I'm tire of doing it. I'm just going to say there is no fitment issues with the audspeed manifold, just a bunch of idiots spreading crap they know nothing about.

I just have to wait and see if the kit is mine.. I would really love it.. And then I need a exhaust manifold.. And a downpipe for it.. AA would fix the software for my Euro 325i.. I wanna go FI!! :)
But, with these manifolds, are the WG going to Atmo? Or?
