As the tiltle states... I am selling my Contour. Excelent condition (no rash and they all are true). New tires (used for 2 weeks... may be 3)
Two tires (the rears) have a bit of rubbing but does not affect the preformance. They rubbed because the rims are NOT for 3 series... which is my case. As stated, I had these wheels on my car for 2 or 3 weeks back in April until I bought the right rims (ET41) and I only drove my car in 4 or 5 occassions due to the rubing.
For details or pictures please email me or PM.
Any one?

Make and offer!!
Believe me they are great! My problem is that I was inexperienced and I did not buy the right ones for my car. I have a 3 series which requires and offset of 41. This wheels I am selling have the ET20 offset which pushed the wheel way out and rubbing was imminent. (SEE PICTURE)Wrong offset2
These wheels fit almost every BMW (5,6,7,8, X series and 2002) except 3 series (will fit on M3)

No one intereseted? Do you guys think the price is high?
Yes.
OEM contours go for around $600 give or take, so I don't see people forking out the dough for replicas, especially when the tire size is going to be incorrect for an e28, e34, e39 or anything else that the lower offset is for.
*EDIT* Didn't see that they were 16s..so yeah, way too high, IMO.

Well, I came up with that price this way:
Rims new $145 . Used (but in great shape)= $70 X4 = $280
Tires new $ 70 . Used (but for less than 50 miles)= $50 X2 = $100
. Used with minor rubb = $35 X2 =$70
Total = $450
INCLUDES:
Balancing on all four = $7.50 X4 = $30
new stem valves with metal cover and caps = $5 X4 = $20
100% Life time tire insurance = $12 X4 = $48
Total = $98 + 450 = $548 All prices at the stores are PLUS TAX
The tires are from Discount tires and I will provide with the receipt so the buyer could replace them if in need. There are no hidden or extra fees on the insurance (a month ago I replaced one tire on my current 17" and I paid nothing else on the new tire besided the NEW insurance and balancing... no ID / no questions asked.

The tire size (or you mean the offset) will only be incorrect for E36 except M3.
It should be pointed out that all e36s use the same offset. These wil not fit an e36 M3, nor will they fit an e46 M3 as they will not clear the brakes. You could probably get them onto an e30 M3.

I am not an expert on this matter but I have read that more than a couple of guys have fitted 5 series rims (ET20 like mine) on E36.
As I expressed to you on our last PM, my advice is not to buy my rims for your E36 but since you live 60 mile away from me and if you want to, I can let you take them to play with them and make your decision.
