I posted this group buy 3 weeks ago, but I was unable to tend to it because of a death in the family that required 2 weeks.

I have about 5 people for sure right now, but I would like 10 to 15. Here is the offer:

I've arranged a deal with Pete Pham of (PAR) or Pham Air Research to sell us 10 to 15 of his custom intakes for (($170 shipped.)) This is a a great discounted price that Pete has offered us and we will all be able to save money.

I've been researching air intakes (BMW) for the last year and I've only heard great things about Pete's intakes. They come with all the proper fitings, a heat sheild (the HS seals firmly with the top of the hood), and easy to follow directions.

These intakes are adaptable with (E36) 325's, 328's, M3's, and '99 323's.

Will this intake kit pass the smog visual inspection in California? I'm interested but I do not want to swap the unit with my stock M3 intake unit every 2 years for smog inspection....

Hi,

I am definately interested in getting this. I have a 1999 323i sedan (E46). Why does the post say this works for a 99 323i but doesn't mention the 328i? I thought their configurations are the same except for engine size?

Also, based on the pictures (as well as my novice understanding of these mods), I am wondering how the air will get to the inside of the heat shield for my 323i because my intake inlet tube does not come from the side it comes from the top? Thanks.
