How many E34 540i6s were made??

Anyone know how I can find out how many E34 540i6s were produced worldwide? I want to know how scarce they are. I had a really hard time finding one! It took me over 4 months to locate one.

well i know its not the total answer you were looking for but i know mine is one of only 70 ever produced for australia.

i think you r looking at only about 3odd thousand in RHD and dunno how many in LHD
