"New" 95 325is Part Two

Well, so far so good. I paid $3300 for it, paid $256 for a plane ticket and flew out there. I drove it the 700+ miles home yesterday with no problems. It came with a full tank of gas, so I only stopped once for 14 gallons of gas at like $33 (got midgrade). I stopped at a guys house who is also on this forum and picked up a few parts from his wrecked 325, I got a door handle, mine was broken, a e-brake handle and button(mine was chewed up) a spare tire(mine was missing) and some coilovers. He was very helpful(martialartsblackbelt). Last week I ordered some 328 sport rims, 16in with tires with 90% tread remaining shipped to me for $463. Also from a guy on this forum.(e36bmwparts) The 15in bottle cap rims that come with the car are ugly, and they are almost out of tread, so it would have cost me over $400 to get new tires anyways. I also got a fog light from a guy on this forum(Jefh328ic) for $35 shipped, the driver side one on mine was missing. However, I found out when I picked up the car, the passenger side is cracked. This week I am replacing the windshield, it was cracked all the way across, for $250. The car came with a spare used AC compressor, and I am ordering a new dryer from bavauto for $50 I think. I will install the ac compressor and dryer myself, and pay a AC shop to flush and recharge the system.
That will be a start. So far I am very happy :redspot

A few things I noticed. Some parts of my guages where dark, burned out bulbs? The computer said it was -39.5 F outside, bad sensor? where? The computer also reporter low wiper fluid, even though it was full, bad sensor also? and thirdly, when i pushed the speed button, it said 39.5 mph, all the time. Is that suppose to tell you your current speed? if so, I guess it is bad also? Is there a thread explaing the functions of a 18 button obc? I would like to learn to make full use of it. My car didn't come with a manual, and I haven't gotten a bently yet. I did figure out that it does roll the windows up with the key in the lock. I forget what that is called.

Temp sensor is bad (-39*). It's in the brake duct behind the front bumper, driver's side. About $20 from BavAuto...

I believe it is the value that the system defaults to when no sensor/a bad sensor is hooked up...

From what I am reading on here, it looks like the car has the sport package, but I am going to the stealer tomarrow to get a key made, and while there I will get a print out of the cars options.
Where is the speed sensor located? no info on the obc?
