Would anyone be interested in a 3.23 diff from a 98 M3? I may be getting one and I do not need it, if you would be interested let me know and make an offer, it has approx 120,000 miles on it.

As you know they are quite heavy so you will be responsible for all shipping costs. Please keep that in mind if you are interested and if you make an offer, just send me a PM.

few questions:

-is it a direct swap with no modification?

-that is a lsd right?

-is that geared more towards tourqe or high end?

I'm interested, how much?

EDIT: It shouldn't be more than 50 to ship. I have been looking for an LSD and they all said shipping was about 50.

Is there any physical problems with it at all? No filings in the fluid or anything? And it is an LSD correct, has the S inside the box stamped on it correct?

I am no mechanic by far, but here is what I know:

I had a 3.38 in my 97 M3, I swapped the 3.38 for a 3.91, Bimemrworks did the swap and from what I know it was direct.

Yes it is an LSD 25% lock up

As far as gearing, I swapped up to the 3.91 I lost top end speed but got more acceleration. I would think the lower gears would give more top end.
