1997 540I Sport 6-SPEED RARE MANUAL SEATS

First off, I am in no rush to sell this car. It is an amazing piece of machinary and will be extremely difficult to replace. For the money, its hard to beat. This particular 540 is top notch in every way and has been so from day one. As close to perfect as you can get. It was ordered with the rare manual sport seats option. I personally have only seen one other 540 with this option. Few cars have such an impeccable and fully documented history as this one does. Autocheck report is available. One owner, no accidents, and serviced only at the BMW dealer. I have all paperwork to back this up. OVER $18,000 IN SERVICE AND REPAIR RECEIPTS FROM BMW. (see pictures) Everything this car has ever needed has been done to a fanatical level. Even uneccesary things like replacing the entire wood trim of the car for a small crack was done. With $18,000 worth of reciepts, you are basically getting a new 540I. It has 125K miles which in this case works in your favor because everything has already been replaced. You could get a lower mile example, pay more for it, and still have to replace things as they go on your own. For example, the car has a new transmission and clutch which cost about $6500 installed from BMW. (see pictures) All common E39 540I issues have been taken care of. Everything from the radiator and water pump to those pesky cup holders. Anything and everything has been done to this car to keep it new. (EVERY last feature works flawlessly.) Drives as tight as when it was new. I can't get into everything that has been done but serious buyers can contact me for more details. This is a truly one of a kind example and as I have said, I am in no rush to sell this car. It possesses a balance of luxury, sportiness, good looks, and raw power that few cars can match. Bump for a clean car at a fair price. I had an e39 540/6 and still regret selling it. A perfectly sized sedan that rewards driver interaction, and knows how to cover ground at an amazing rate.
