Who use normal coolant found at the local auto part store?

Just wondering who here use the coolant found at your local autopart stores, and with what success and comments? Reading the DIY, and it all says use BMW coolant.

also, where online can I buy some bmw coolant?

I buy my coolant from www.bavauto.com - Never use anything other than OEM.

Any green coolant should work just fine. Newer cars use special coolant that you cant mix with green coolant.
