I am selling my black with tan leather 1989 535i, the car is located in IL near Chicago. The car just sits in my garage and I just dont have the space to keep it any more. The car has 170,000 miles and it runs very strong. The car has a newer radiator, bilstien suspension, the headliner and rear decklid have been redone, and the A/C was converted to R134A in 2003. I purchaseed the car in June of this year from my neighbor who has owned the car since 1995 and it has been maintained by Helmot and Vittos here in Downers Grove and Laurel BMW in Westmont. The car does need 2 things to be perfect. The first is the relay for the climate controls the "sword" need to be replaced which is a cheep and easy fix. The second is either the transmisson speed sensor or the transmission control computer. AS of now the car runs and drives great but you have to shift the transmission in manual mode 1-4, in full auto mode it doesn't shift out of first, which shouldn't be hard too fix or you could just drive it as is with no problems. I want to get $2600 for the car. Thanks pics comming soon
