Lots of Pics!!! 98 M3 Coupe Arctic Silver w/black interior. Just turned 115,000 miles and has been extremely well maintained (large folder of receipts). I work for BMW and only replace with factory parts from the dealer. Very tastefully modded by the previous owner. I just found out that I'm going to have to start driving a lot more and had some unexpected expenses so I'm gonna have to part with it. Here's a list of options and mods.

Have you replaced the rear shock mounts or rear trailing arm bushings?

Replaced the rear shock mounts with E46 vert mounts and just replaced the Hood release system which when out on me a few weeks back. When I went in to replace the rear shock mounts I noticed that there had been some damage to the driver side rear shock tower which had been fixed. I got in touch with the previous owner who had paid for this work and he confirmed that there was a shock tower failure on that side but he took it to a nice shop in the area and had everything done right. I also installed the Z3 reinforcement plates as well. Let me know if you have any other questions.

thanks, one more update...I've been going back and forth with BMW NA and they've finally decided to do a 50/50 split with me on parts and labor to replace the radio...should have that done within a couple weeks so the radio will be brand new

I echo the comments about what a nice m3 but with that mileage you are smoking crack with the asking price. A car should be in perfect shape when you sell it, you do not get more because it is in good shape, you just get less if it is not. Not trying to be a buzz kill on all these really nice m3's but as I am in the market I just think people should be more realistic about prices. Might someone pay that, sure and I honestly hope you get it but I wouldn't.


PS if you decide to drop the price I am interested, friend in GA could look at it.

Alot of hate goin on here. The car is a 98. Yeah it has higher miles but its clean and has records. I agree that the mods shouldn't have an affect on the price, and I think in this case their affect is very minor. I saw one of these with almost 200k miles for not much less. Same year same color, cept it had dove interior and a dinan intake. It might not be a steal, but it is a fair price. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, the miles are obviously scaring people away but you seriously have to see the car in person. It drives like it has 50k, all the preventative stuff has been done, near perfect condtion. Just installed new tires on it Friday, Toyo Proxes 4's (235/40/18) and so now there's not a thing that needs to be done. I'll post pics of the tires later today but I seriously think the first serious person that comes to see it will buy it. Still haven't put it on autotrader but will be going on soon.
