After I removed the steeing wheel and fix the problem that I had (listed in previous thread), I put the wheel and the air bag in place. I soleved my previous problem.

Now, the steering wheel is not straight when the tires are straight. Even though I made sure to mark everything and install the wheel with the tires staight.

Does anyone have a good idea or tip on how to re-adjust the wheel so that it is straight? I am going to take it out and put it back in over the weekend and I would greatly appreciate if someone can give me a tip or advice on how to do this.
Thanks

Check before you bolt it down.

I made sure that it was straight before bolting it own. Is it possible that it will shift on me as I tighten even though the wheel was locked?

Are you sure the splines were set together? If you put the splines together all the way, the wheel shouldn't be able to move as you tighten the bolt.

this is what I did, screw the nut, put the steering wheel off, keep the airbag connected so the damn srs light doesnt go off(2nd person is pretty helpful here) then find a road without traffic and adjust it. Do it where there are no people, cars etc etc
