95 318i. In the past 2 years (80K miles) I have blown 3 rear shocks (2 tokicos and a bilstein sport) on either side. What should I look for before I get another shock?
on H&R lowering springs (the sport ones I think) 1-1.5" drop. have used 16x7 and 17x7 wheels. Car is perfectly aligned.
TIA

The warranty won't apply when you don't have bumpstops.

Thanks for all the input guys!

yeah, that was a weak past two years. The year before that I got 65K put on in one year. I just got done waxing the car, oil, etc. and the odo is at 219K.. still ticking stock block/tranny.
why would one not have bumpstops?!

You make it sound hard, realistically it takes 10- 15 minutes to do one of the rear corners.

Wow! That (65K) averages about 180 miles per day, 7 days a week, every week.
If I were a shock, I'd be worn out too!
