Hey guys I can get a set of 245/40/17 for my new wheels for real cheap and I was wondering if they will rub or not in the front. The car is a stock suspension 1996 328is. The wheels are 8.5 inches wide and the offset is 38. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Matt

Should be ok or very close. I run 245/40/17 in the front on a 17X8 wheel with 35 offset and I have a good finger gap between the strut and wheel.
Worse comes to worse i have some 5mm spacers that I bought 2 weeks ago and didn't need. I'll sell them to you for 20 shipped.
