I am looking for rear seats, beige, '94 325i Convertible.

Only interested in mint/near mint condition.

Money is no object! (ok, maybe a little bit of an object).

:help

If the fold down seat backs from a couple will fit yours, I have a set in tan in great condition. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks Quick, however, they are definitely not the right seats.

Oh well. At least I get a bump out of it!

Too bad you need perfect seats, I have some decent ones.

How decent? You got pics?

Post them or email them to me if you don't mind. I might be interested. Maybe I am being a little too picky.

They're a bit dirty from being in storage, but basically the bottom half needs to be recondition since the leather is a bit hard but the back is still good except for the seams in the top center on one side is starting to come apart. No tears in the leather and everything can be easily fixed to your liking.

can you guys tell me how to take off the back rest for the vert rear seats? I am parting out a '98 vert. Do I have to put top up to get to back of seats? Sorry for hijack ;) TIA

i just pulled forward and it came off. i found it easier to do it with the top down simply for more room. the seat back is simply attached with push-type clips. it should come right off.

check out a DIY site for a little more clarification...

what are you parting out? you don't have the seats i need, do you?

The old verts without the head rests are easier and different to take apart. what Medic described is basically the 2nd half of the step in order to remove the newer vert seats. For the newer verts like yours, krautcars, you need to get a firm grip on the plastic surrounding on the headrests where the spokes go into and pull up hard. Wiggle it a bit and it should come out, do the same for the other side. After that is done just simply pull the seat out and up and it sould pop out.

At this point, Kraut, I am looking for a few things:

1. HK midrange front door speakers...I think they are the 3" ones
2. HK amp
3. HK subwoofer for the vert (the one that sits in the ski pass-through)
4. HK rears for the vert (they mount in the side panels as opposed to the rear deck)
5. In-dash "Business CD" player for the E36
6. Front bumper in good enough condition that it can be reconditioned by a body shop to look new.
7. Rear bumper... same
8. The seats we discussed already
9. Black vert headliner
10. 325i catback exhaust (preferrably with either low miles or FL/AZ/CA car)

I think that is about it for now... not that this isn't a lot of crap.

LMK.

Okay, I am simply looking now for the rear seat itself. I do not need the back. It must be tan and for a vert. Any condition as long as no holes/tears and prefer decent stitching.

Please help! This is killing me!

The only thing I am missing now is the set of mids for the front doors. Krautcars is checking into them for me.

If you do have them let me know in case he doesn't.

Thanks.

I still need that seat though!!!!

mbanks, they are grey but need to be cleaned up a bit. They will come out good once I do that. The downside is I won't have any time this week. I still have to check for medic's mid's (sorry medic, bump though). I have nothing resembling free time until after Aug 15th. How about the Airborneden's seats? They look ok.
