I'm having a slight miss. Most noticable at idle but has a slight hesitation when I floor it.Things I've replaced so far: ignition wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, and plugs.
compression is 150 psi for every piston at 5 cranks.
engine has 211000 miles btw.
I've also checked for vaccum leaks by spraying carb cleaner on know areas.

I believe I was on the right forum. If you read my original post, it talks about ignition wires, rotor, and cap.

I didn't move it in the first place, but I moved it to the E30 M3 forum for you.
Sorry, it's my fault. I didn't read your post, and assumed that you had an E36 M3, sorry for the misconception on my part...

I'm having the same miss. I have a 2000 M Roadster all Dinan equiped. It just dosent want to pull until around 4 to 4500 rpm. Just kinda slugish. I have replaced the compressor by-pass valve. Still the same. Dinan has had the Santa fe BMW dealer run some tests and say all checks as it should, but there is a definite hesitation as you go thru the r's. I'll watch your thread and see if we get an answer. Let me know what you find out. Thanks, David
David, are you in Santa Fe? I'm currently staying at a cousins house in El Dorado (small place).
Sorry this isn't relavent to fixing the problem, but I noticed a lot of loss in power from the altitude change, esp in Colorado. One thing that I am confused on, is when you say miss, do you mean that when accelerating, there is a hesitation in power?
